North America's Textile Innovator
North America's Textile Innovator
Inland Plastics, with 60+ years in business, supplies industrial textiles across North America, offering custom orders and manufacturing support from 4 Canadian facilities and 2 USA facilities.

Inland Plastics is an over 50-year-old privately held family run business. It started by selling the first and original Hay Cover and Truck Tarps to the Agricultural communities across North America.
The company was founded in Olds, Alberta, Canada, a small agricultural community nestled into the foothills of the great Canadian Rockies. The first manufacturing location was situated in the back of the local barber shop. A limited number of seamstresses could be accommodated and a larger facility became necessary.
The opportunity arose in 1971 to purchase a large 4 classroom schoolhouse in Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. The purchase was made and the company moved to its present Head Office location. The school building and grounds allowed for the growth that the company was experiencing.
Well established in the new location, the company developed and introduced several new products to the market, such as wooden and steel framed structures, temporary grains storage covers, insulated tarpaulin products, etc. As the company grew, so did their buying power.
Recognizing the quality of materials Inland Plastics was using, fellow manufacturers in the industry began buying textile rolled goods and finished products from Inland Plastics. Through the years Inland Plastics focus changed from manufacturing to textile distribution.
